Skiing
Ski-in. Ski-out.
From hotel to piste. In Austria’s
largest ski region, Arlberg.
Pole position. For skiers, that is! Hinterwies Lift is right outside the door, offering direct access to Austria’s largest continuous ski region. With around 305 kilometres of track, 200 kilometres of Alpine deep snow slopes, and 88 different lifts and cable cars. For beginners to advanced. And for experts.
A ski region that’s firmly rooted in the history of the family. Starting with Sepp Bildstein, pioneer of skiing tourism in Lech/Zürs. The “White Ring” was set up in his honour. The longest ski run in the world. An amazing 22 kilometres long, covering 5,500 metres in altitude. A highlight for ski freaks is the “Run of Fame” – a spectacular circuit that takes in the entire region. 65 kilometres long, covering total altitudes of 18,000 metres, from St. Anton/Rendl to Zürs and Lech and on to Warth before returning. It is dedicated to all the skiing pioneers and stars from the worlds of sports and film who ever tackled the snowy slopes themselves and left their tracks behind for others to follow.
Skiing at its best. In and around Lech. On Arlberg.
